Takamine, Sugadaira, Kagura & Tanbara OPEN on 11/22 (Sat.)

A powerful seasonal cold front brought widespread snowfall on 11/18 (Tue.) to 11/19 (Wed.), and now ski resorts across Japan are announcing their opening one after another. Tomorrow, 11/21 (Fri.), Tengendai Kogen is opening, in addition to the previously reported openings of Kumanoyu, Sapporo Kokusai, White Pia Takasu, and Washigatake! On 11/22 (Sat.), the openings of Takamine, Kagura, and six additional ski resorts have also been confirmed.

Yokoteyama・Shibutoge … △30cm, 2 runs open, artificial & natural snow

Okuibuki … △70cm, 1 run open, artificial snow

*The opening decisions for Grandeco and Geto Kogen will be announced on the morning of 11/21 (Fri.).
Shirakaba 2in1 has postponed its planned 11/22 opening.
*Excluding ski areas without lifts.
Kurodake Ski Resort, which held its pre-opening on 11/8 (Sat.) & 11/9 (Sun.), will undergo ropeway maintenance from 11/10 (Mon.) to 11/30 (Sun.), with the grand opening scheduled for 12/1 (Mon.).
*As of 11/20 (Thurs.), Tateyama has a snow depth of 130cm and is currently skiable by hiking up.
