Able Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort has installed two new snowmaking machines on the Toomi Slope and announced that it will open for the season on 11/21 (Sat.)! The new equipment should allow the resort to open on schedule rather than having to wait for sufficient natural snowfall. Hakuba47 Mountain Resort has also added more snowmaking fan guns. Better still, prices for the Goryu47 advance discount 1-day pass remain unchanged from last year at JPY7,000 for adults and JPY3,300 for elementary school students!
