On 6/1 (Sun), the 68th Mt. Harinokidake Shintaro Festival will be held to honor the achievements of Shintaro Momose, a pioneer of modern mountaineering in Japan, as well as to celebrate the opening of the North Alps. There are two courses: “Hana Kaido Trekking” to reach Harinoki Daisetsukei with a guide, and “Memorial Climbing” to climb Harinoki Daisetsuken. Applications are being accepted until 5/23 (Fri).
